Integration possibilities

The correct solution for each type of connection

ContentCard© offers a number of integration options, from the online cash register solution to integration with an existing payment terminal. The following are some possibilities for connecting ContentCard© up to your system. 

1. Online cash register solution (e.g. brodos.net)

An online cash register solution involves creating a connection to the ContentCard© server via a website.

 

  1. The customer selects the required POSA card or prints off a voucher for the required product at the ContentKiosk™.
  2. The retailer scans the card or the voucher into the web cash register solution (e.g. brodos.net) at the checkout.
  3. The card or the voucher code are activated.
  4. The customer receives the activated card or the voucher with a live PIN.
  5. The customer can then redeem the activated PIN online and receive the required product.
Advantages:
  • Technical connection not required
  • Available immediately
Optimal solution for:

Traditional retail stores with less than three checkouts per POS

 

2. MiniKiosk™

The MiniKiosk™ allows a connection to be made directly to the ContentCard© server.

  1. The customer selects the required POSA card or prints off a voucher for the required product at the ContentKiosk™.
  2. The retailer scans the card or the voucher at the checkout.
  3. The card or the voucher code are activated via the  MiniKiosk™ .
  4. The customer receives the activated card or the voucher with a live PIN.
  5. The customer can then redeem the activated PIN online and receive the required product.
Advantages:
  • Technical connection not required
  • Available immediately
Optimal solution for:

Traditional retail stores of all sizes which would like to distribute ContentCards© independently of existing systems.

 

3. Cash desk integration

The cash desks are connected to the ContentCard© server via the customer server.

  1. The customer selects the required POSA card or prints off a voucher for the required product at the ContentKiosk™.
  2. The retailer scans the card or the voucher at the checkout as normal.
  3. The POS system connects to the ContentCard© server and activates the card or the voucher code.
  4. The customer receives the activated card or the voucher with a live PIN.
  5. The customer can then redeem the activated PIN online and receive the required product.
Advantages:
  • Familiar payment process at checkout
  • Automatically entered into POS system

Retailers with a uniform POS system

 

4. With payment terminal (without cash register)

An existing payment terminal can be connected to the ContentCard© system via the payment provider.

  1. The customer selects the required POSA card or prints off a voucher for the required product at the ContentKiosk™.
  2. The retailer scans the card or the voucher using the payment terminal.
  3. The payment connects to the ContentCard© server via the terminal’s network operator and activates the card or the voucher code.
  4. The customer receives the activated card or the voucher with a live PIN.
  5. The customer can then redeem the activated PIN online and receive the required product.
Advantages:
  • Uses existing connection
  • Familiar technology
Optimal solution for:

Traditional retail outlets with individual cash register solutions

 

5. With payment terminal (with cash register)

If retailers use a combination of cash register and payment terminal, the cash register can be connected to the ContentCard© system via the payment provider.

  1. The customer selects the required POSA card or prints off a voucher for the required product at the ContentKiosk™.
  2. The retailer scans the card or the voucher at the checkout as normal.
  3. The checkout transfers the relevant code to the payment terminal.
  4. The payment connects to the ContentCard© server via the terminal’s network operator and activates the card or the voucher code.
  5. The customer receives the activated card or the voucher with a live PIN.
  6. The customer can then redeem the activated PIN online and receive the required product.

Retailers with an existing connection between cash register and payment terminal

 

6. Internet marketing

The website is connected via the customer server and then to the ContentCard© server.

  1. The customer selects the required product in the online shop.
  2. The website connects to the ContentCard© server and activates the card or the voucher code.
  3. The customer receives an active PIN.
  4. The customer can then redeem the activated PIN online and receive the required product.
Advantages:
  • No need to keep own PIN’s in stock
  • High availability
